Rosa Louise McCauley Parks was an African American civil rights activist, also known as Rosa Parks Born was born in Tuskegee Alabama .Slavery was done with and the south came up with this new law called the Jim Crow law also known as segregation. Rosa refused to give up her seat on the bus to a white man after the white section of the bus was filled .

In Montgomery , Alabama the law required African American passengers to give up their seats to whites. Rosa didn't give up her seat she said " I told them I didn't think  I should have to stand up. After I paid my fare and occupied a seat , I didn't think I should have to give it up '. Rosa believed in human rights. After not giving up her seat Rosa was arrested . Her arrest created a chain of events that led to the civil rights movement .
I believe if it wasn’t for Rosa Parks standing up for what she believe in it wouldn’t had lead to others boycotting . Linking also to Martin Luther King leading movements. Probably segregation would stand now, because of Rosa now if people feel something is unfair we have movements, like the Black Lives Matter . These events have influenced social change change in American society.
Rosa Parks civil disobedience and Martin Luther King's boycotting are in comparison with the Black Lives Matter international activist movement. In 2013 the movement began with the shooting death of African American child Trayvon Martin by killer George Zimmerman social media felt the ruling in court wasn't fair and started hashtag #BlackLivesMatter and organizes protests in deaths of black people by law enforcers , police brutality , racial inequality and more.
